There are two sittings for the examination. The first sitting (Paper 1) a subjective or essay test for the three subjects. Candidates are required to answer questions as instructed in the various subjects. This paper lasts for two hours.
​The second sitting is an objective test that comprises 20 questions each for English, Integrated Science, and Mathematics. This makes a total of 60 questions. This paper lasts an hour.
 
There is a snack break of 30 minutes between the two papers. Only successful candidates will be admitted to Hope College.
